The Dancing Peyote Tile represents the Peyote experience. For a brief time, the communicant joins with the holy sacrament and becomes Peyote, joining with the cosmic mind. $25.00 plus 9.20 S/H

"Peyote is a spiritual medicine. It can bring us in touch with the God within us, our Heavenly Father and our Earthly Mother. Peyote puts us in balance again with the Earth underneath our feet... Peyote is a plant sacrament. It is a plant teacher. It is a way of life. Our time in these bodies is brief. When we eat the Peyote we experience time and eternity, and it is from that vantage that, the next day, we can live our life in a very positive and non- trivial way, realizing that this day could be the last and everyone around us is our brother and sister and we need each other." -Rabbi Matthew S. Kent

The introspective nature of the peyote experience leads communicants to sincere examination of conscience, yet this gentle teacher guides the reluctant mind to new insights and growth like a  trickster laughing and dancing while guiding our hearts to more conscious choices, gentler behavior and compassion towards each other.  Also, as we consume the Peyote we become the Peyote and so these walking dancing Peyote plants are actually inspired people taking Peyote's message into the world. Each Peyote and firebird color is applied separately making the Peyote Way design time consuming and exacting.  The background color represents the fire which focuses the mind. The firebird is the symbol of the spirit which flies with our prayers to the divine source

This Peyote Way Church/Spiritual Retreat cannot survive without membership support. Thanks to a few of you we have managed to raise $9000. for the new Peyote Greenhouse. Our operating costs are also going up. We need to purchase a tractor/backhoe/riding mower. All donations to help in this purchase will be gratefully received. Matthew, Immanuel and I are getting older and our concerns about the longevity of the church increase as the years go by. This year we are offering a few beautiful hand decorated Peyote pieces, donated by Mana(tm) Pottery, for your donations. Donations will go toward completion of the Greenhouse and maintenance of church property. These pieces were hand made by Rabbi Matthew S. Kent, Rev. Immanuel Pardeahtan Trujillo, and Rev. Anne L. Zapf. You can see more pottery at www.manapottery.com

Mana Ceremonial Earthenware is handcrafted and decorated in the remote Aravaipa Valley Wilderness in southeastern Arizona. Each step in the production process requires attention to detail to ensure that there are no flaws in the finished piece, which is twice fired to temperatures exceeding 1900F. The workmanship that goes into each piece is the meditation of three Peyote Way clergy members: Immanuel (Mana) Trujillo,  Anne Zapf and Matthew Kent, who have been making visionary art for over twenty five years. We care about the quality of our product, and it shows!

The Mana tm Signature : Mana means a person, place or thing imbued with spiritual power. In these times of imported mass-produced products, our pottery, which is completely handmade, is charged with the power of devotion and attention to detail. We underline the Mana signature with the maze of life. Mana is the registered trademark of the Peyote Way Church.
