Aravaipa Freeway Information Page

Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness is an Arizona treasure that must not be destroyed! Route 1 would go through Klondyke and run right past the Peyote Way Church, disrupting Migration paths and destroying the delicate balance of flora and fauna in Aravaipa Canyon.

Thanks for being someone who might be interested in working together to let ADOT (AZ Dept of Transportation) know why the idea of a freeway through Aravaipa Valley would be counter to sustainable, long-term resource planning.
